The translation agency AbroadLink marks a new milestone in the strategy based on its company philosophy: move forward with technology. In February 2014, we executed the first pilot translation projects using SDL Trados Studio 2011, the market leader in translation memory software, and integrated with the management system in place in the company since February 2013.
According to Suzanne Bromly, senior project manager: "The new work flow used thanks to the integration between the management system and the translation memory not only allows us to improve management productivity and efficiency, but also ensures the systematic update of translation memories".
The company hopes to achieve maximum benefits from this integration by the end of May, after having updated all of the necessary client and provider settings. Pilot tests are currently being conducted with the latest version of the SDL software, and it seems that this could further reduce processing time compared to the version currently used.
