AbroadLink has announced an eleven-month plan to implement a telecommuting system for in-house and freelance staff as part of an ongoing effort to increase speed, quality and profits by adding the most up to date technology to the workflow. The system aims at centralizing all files used by staff hence minimizing file management time and making them available for AbroadLink’s translators and engineers around the world. The translation agency anticipates that this will significantly reduce waiting time for global staff working on multinational projects and therefore provide clients with faster deliveries. The system will also allow AbroadLink to make a number of software applications available to its employees through the Internet which will improve the consistency and speed of projects. The deadline for the execution of the project is November 30, 2004.
